Wedding Officiant


As a licensed officiant with Humanist Canada, I provide a non-religious option for weddings that meet the needs of contemporary couples. As a writer and as a public speaker trained with the Stratford Festival, I have the skills to create a celebration that is unique to both of you. Your wedding can be simple, elegant and to the point or carefully crafted to include any of the elements you envision - together we can create a celebration that reflects your commitment to each other.

My fee for a full service includes the writing of your ceremony with legal elements, readings of your choice, and a review of vows.  $450.  Additional rehearsal attendance is $50. (Rehearsal needs to be booked at the same time the wedding is booked). I can suggest a venue for this service that is much nicer than city hall. 

Are you planning a small wedding? An elopement? Or a legal service in Ontario before a destination wedding? You can be married with up to ten guests, and with champagne, in my beautiful home in Stratford. Legal but still a celebration!  

Please note that all fees are HST payable.
